Fellrunner is a community bus service entirely run by volunteers that aims to ensure people from the villages can get into the towns and cities to access the essential medical, legal, banking and retail services that we all need.

Senior citizens with NOW cards travel for free, as do under 16s. Everyone is welcome to use the service and using it helps ensure its continued availability for those who rely upon it.
The bus will stop to pick you up anywhere on the main road through Ainstable as long as the driver considers it safe to stop there. Just give a clear signal to the driver.
Passengers using mobility scooters or wheelchairs are also very welcome on Fellrunner services but please contact Fellrunner a day in advance to ensure we send a bus that is adapted for these mobility aids and to check availability.
Fellrunner also organises a programme of excursions to interesting destinations across the north of England to give people a fun day out and to help raise funds for the bus service.
